Review by hotel critic
The tastefully refurbished cottage with its modern, well-equipped kitchen and cosy seating areas provided the perfect setting for our family getaway. the village's proximity to the Tyne River offered great walking opportunities, while being close to historic Roman sites like Hadrian's Wall added a cultural touch to our trip. the presence of good quality pubs/restaurants in the village and nearby villages made dining out a breeze. Overall, the cottage's three good-sized double bedrooms, along with amenities like free Wi-Fi, free parking, and pet-friendly policy made our stay comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in a picturesque setting.
